Excellent point and very true. If you look at wildly successful companies that have lion's share of market you can see that they invented the market and continued innovating to prevent new entrants from gaining ground. Google in Search advertising, Apple in iPod and iPad and so on. The key is to not to rest after you have created the market.

I agree. If you can create your own market, go for it. You'll def come out better than competing with an existing market. Even if you can't create your own market, creating your own product to present to an existing market is the next best thing. Thanks for sharing your insights with us.
