It was also obvious Google is unable to tell a good link from a bad link – so instead of fixing their algorithm, they are using PR to scare people off and have them report each other – which is just evil.

Bold statement - but I agree. Google seems desperate to control the listed sites in Google search - which you can't. Google could try to scare webmasters and marketers, but you know what? What Google does make those who tried to play by the rule to go black hat.

And we all know that websites using black hat strategies still rule the SERPs :/
