Backlinks are a vital component of your search engine optimisation and general growth of your brand. How can you generate interest in third parties linking to you?

David: The two-way street deal is what I am talking about with guest on my podcast show, during the half-time period, discussing the philosophical idea of the trader principle.

Have a nice evening!

David: I am searching for the tongue-twisting word, reciprocal... ;) A backlink is important part of blogosphere. I don't really ask for backlinks, I get them over time! :) I like your use of the word, two-way partnership.

I will check out Google Dashboard again. I haven’t been there for some time.

Yes Lyceum, reciprocal would be another good word to use for the sharing of links. But in my opinion, when you are talking about marketing, you need to think of two-way partnerships. You both have to get something from the arrangement and the audience can't lose out.

And with just a reciprocal deal, there is no telling where that link is for you. Is it in a place that is suitable or is it just placed randomly on their site.

But as you said, organic backlinks over time are the best strategy, and one that we use. But we do get a few requests every week.

Hope you have a good evening!
