I believe in grammar: I abide by its rules, and I truly appreciate the confines of editorial guidelines. Our society’s rampant reliance on social media, however, is changing these rules. Language is ever-evolving, and like it or not, “correct” usage is often determined by “common and accepted” usage.

I really like this post. I have been blogging for a while and recently became an editor of blogs. I agree that blogs are more conversational than needing to abide by grammatical rules. However I do think that grammar remains important for easy reading. Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com
