This is a great analysis! One of the best metrics online marketers could look at is shopping cart abandonment. I, too, have spent time on Rosetta Stone, loading items only to abandon the cart for the same reason, price. Perhaps sites selling pricier items encounter this more often and should therefore spend extra time customizing their resulting offers. The fact is that highly customized experiences is one of the best ways of differentiating brand, and certainly it would help persuade me to buy a higher priced item. I would like to see more posts like this on BizSugar. Great job!
