Gary: I will check this listing for a client of mine. I am helping her with starting a podcast and she has set up a studio at her office space.

Gary: Thanks for your answer. Will GMB always turn up in Google search results on businesses / names of brands, companies?

The GMB listing is tied directly to your local business, so yes, if you do a brand search it pretty much always pops up. It also comes up when people do a search for your category. Like with SEO, how high you show up for category searches depends on your local SEO and the strength f your GMB listing. This video shows you the difference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fks4pK8-yBM

Gary: Thanks for the information. How much will these temporary updates rank in the searches? Is this feature available on an international scale?

They won't rank in the search engines, they are directly tied to your Google My Business listing so visibility depends on your GMB listing rankings. They have released it worldwide, but it is still not available in every account yet.

Gary: Will the Postings on Google count like regular blog post in search results?

Hey Martin. No, these posts are meant to be temporary posts to your Google My Business page that promote events, timely promotions, etc for your business. They are not meant to be evergreen content, they are meant to keep people updated what is happening for your business. Think of it more like a Facebook timeline rather than a blog.
