I'm just not sure how much time that leaves for homework and studying, or actually being outdoors. My neices and nephews are pale from not leaving the house. It's always in front of the computer. They are zombies.

Generation "WHY???"

If I was a kid growing up today I would fail school and be a hobo riding Amtrak trains and drinking a bottle of "Night Train" everyday.

Man, I found it hard enough to concentrate in 8th grade with textbooks, homework, spitballs and Playboy. The photo you chose is appropriate, I bet without the sunglasses, the kid would have lifeless, blank staring eyes.

The concentration abilities of kids these days is much greater than ours. They grow up with the TV on while playing video games and talking on their cell phones all simultaneously. Just the video games themselves...let's just say it's a far cry from poking at garter snakes as they slither out from beneath a rock.
