Good advice. I try to inject humor into almost everything I do, however sometimes a client ham-strings that ability because they think it interferes with portraying a "professional" demeanor. Regardless, I still think humor adds a dimension that really grabs one's audience. Great post, Scott!

Thanks for article. I'm definitely going to be more humourous about my tweets. I use twitter to communicate, learn more and engaing with people.

As a business tool, Twitter is like anyother marketing communication method. You must set objectives and know what you want to achieve. This will help you decide what to post or what not to post.

For me Twitter is about engaging with people, sharing useful information and sometimes chatting about your day with others. Getting to know the person behind the business has worked well for me too. Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com

Yes I agree Sian. I find it a much better form of communication than Facebook, and unlike Facebook it has hardly changed its look since it first came out.
