Hi Gaurav,

I fully agree with you that guest blogging is a good strategy to get backlinks via top ranking pages. But as you said if it is not done properly it really hurt and harm the blogger as well as the space owner.

Many top bloggers once guest bloggers.

And another interesting thing to note is that I am getting a minimum of 5 to 6 requests every day for seeking guest post opportunity, but most of them I deny checking their rank and status. Some I just avoid by offering a price for publishing it, then within no time, they disappear from the venue.

Many out there are not willing to shell out some pie for getting a backlink from authority sites.

I am for organic SEO, so guest blogging comes handy as a positive link building method. I have to think about how I can write guest posts on blogs and let guest bloggers on my blogs, in the future.
