So basically someone comes to your blog, reads a single post, and leaves.
Now on the outside this may seem like a bad thing. We want people to stick around don’t we? Sure we do, but we have to face up to the reality of how people today use the web and work with it, not against it.

I especially like #2, about the over-estimation of commenting vis-a-vis SEO link value. The whole commenting as a totally self-serving strategy bothers me to the core. In my case, if I read something that compels me to comment, that's when & why I comment.

p.s. As one of the moderators here at BizSugar, it's great to see a new face who's engaging to the extent you are - it IS appreciated.
A tip for all BizSugar members - if you click on "live" at the top right, then click on "comments" a bit lower, you can follow the entire comment stream back to infinity. It makes it really easy to follow what's going on.

I'm just dispaointed at how little votes the post submissions are getting, but I think it would probably increase the more I engage.
