In Part 1 of this mini-series we learned how Tiger Woods divides his overall golf fame into lots of detailed sub-sections. In Part 2 we're taking that approach to content creation - and sub-dividing the act of creating written content for our blogs and websites into 4 sub-topics. And then subdividing them!

These are really thorough & instructive, Paul! But I gotta say I kinda like "weasel words" - I might even use 'em once in a while.

Another great installment, Paul. Woods, and I guess other sports stars and celebrities, make really excellent examples when talking about branding. Lady Gaga has become a bit too popular as a topic in this department. But sports figures may be an even better example than show biz personalities because what they do is so much more measurable and less a matter of personal taste. Sports is a bit more like the commodities market in this respect while entertainment might be seen as something closer to a luxury market. Though some athletes are quantifiably better than others in terms of physical ability, not all attract the same level of business opportunities in terms of sponsorships, licensing and other exposure. Why? If the answer isn't marketing, I'm not sure what it is.
