I have tweaked a bit the FreshLife Theme designed by Theme Junkie on Fill My Money Box.com

I have removed the featured posts (they look so bad in black) and a couple of things more.

What do you think now? :-)

I use Spectrum by WooThemes for my niche blog of Tokyo and Japan.

I found WooThemes a little bit..how I can say...outdated.

I have found FreshLife Theme designed by Theme Junkie more professional than FreshNews by WooThemes.

I use Daily Theme by Theme Junkie for a business blog.

And SmartBlog for my NPI blog.

I guess, as you said, it's a matter of personal taste.

And it really depends on the size of the website we talk about.

Erik: To pull the author's leg a bit, the readers could have a "beef with" the FreshLife Theme designed by Theme Junkie on Fill My Money Box. Especially when you read Molly Pearce's advice: "A well-designed website full of useful content is key to motivating any favorable decisions on the part of the customer."

Before you jump the gun... ;) I have a very simple and clean business site, that some people could say looks a tad blend.
