Ever done a vanity search on Google? Whether you have or not, plenty of people have probably searched on your name to see what you are about. Wouldn't it be awful if some type of derogatory search result turned up?

Good list by Denise O'Berry. If you search on "Martin Lindeskog" on Google, you get about 12 000 hits. Please note that Martin Lindeskog is an unique name in Sweden.

The first 10 hits:

1. My EGO blog.

2. My other blog, Lindeskog.blogspot.com.

3. My LinkedIn profile.

4. My Twitter page - @Lyceum.

5. My Blogger.com profile.

6. My Posterous.com profile a.k.a Martin.Lindeskog.name

7. My Facebook profile.

8. My FriendFeed page. Lyceum0

9. My Business Exchange profile at BusinessWeek. I have to be more active on this site.

10. My Plaxo profile. I am not actively using this service at the moment. I am still searching for the perfect address book / storage for business contacts / cards, etc.

I have a created a Google profile at http://www.google.com/profiles/lyceum and I have linked to it from my "bulletin board" at http://Martin.Lindeskog.name

My Google profile page is listed as #13 at the moment.

I haven't set up a Google a Google Alert yet.
