Hi Martin,

This is a very interesting discussion! What has been your experience, not so much in terms of measuring the actual return on the cost of social media marketing in time and money, but in terms of figuring out, say, the kind of content that works the best to draw traffic back to your websites etc?

Heather: I have a hard time to measuring this during the years. Sian from the Ruby Marketers, said it in a good way; that it is a mix of activities and relation building activities.

The so called viral content could work best (at the moment) to draw traffic, but evergreen content that readers are searching for, will draw traffic over time.

I have got links by some A-blogger and that draw plenty of traffic for a short period of time, e.g., my post on an election in Sweden.

My long-range goal to get a healthy ROI, is to continue to focus on my podcasting interviews, and the new podcast show together with a co-host.
