When your community is growing, you don’t always feel that reciprocity and understanding. You may get a few comments or none at all. No one’s really sharing your posts. You can get a good “read” on how people are responding to what you’re writing.

Those were some excellent points you made. I don't receive a lot of comments but when I do I love getting them. I know it takes a lot of maintenance when you start to get a lot of comments and it can be hard to keep up if you are getting so many a day. I don't think one should take it personally when they don't receive a lot of comments even though it can cause you to feel bad sometimes because you feel as if no one is reading your blog but that might not be the case. I try to stay positive even thought it can be challenging at times you just have to keep on focusing on what is important and that is growing your readership and writing good content.

You've really covered some important points. Blog comments makes up about 85 to 95% percent of my blog traffic. It was the main thing I did to go from zero to over 8,000 visitors in the first 30 days of my blog relaunch and I still do a high amount of them today.
As you mentioned, although blog comments are great, it does require quite a bit of maintainece. And everything isn't always peaches and roses.
However, overall I love blog commenting and engaging with my audiance as well as with others in my niche. It's really what makes blogging so much fun for me and I can see myslef continuing to engage in a high level of blog commenting for years to come.
This is my first time visiting your blog, Adrianne, and I’m loving what I’ve read and seen so far. I’ll be sure to share this piece with my social circle. I’ll also comment and share it on BizSugar.
Keep the great content coming and I look forward to connecting more with you soon.
