A similar thing just happened to me on Twitter, NettieMae, as you mention regarding site-linking.

I checked all my follows & followers, and lo & behold found someone had changed from a business theme to marijuana. I immediately blocked them. Since I only have about 200 of each, it didn't take long to entirely check both lists carefully (by clicking on each person's home page). I always check carefully when I follow (so there's no garbage on my own home page), but this time I caught a "shape-changer".
