I find that a nice pint drives conversation - in a business meeting/dinner sense in this context - and for that, I always turn to your homeland's most famous export...Guinness.

Word of mouth, as anachronistic as it seems in this crazy world gone mad, is still huge.

Guinness is certainly a proven convsersation lubricator. If I bought all my clients, ex clients and prospects a pint, that might stimulate a few conversations alright.
