As a Copyblogger certified content creator, it's safe to say I have a lot of respect for their organization. In spite of that, I've chosen NOT to follow their lead on one major shift they just made. Here's why.

You have to go with what you feel is right for you and your blog, and I'm glad you did. I'm also all for Copyblogger's decision too. I can see it from both sides.

I see commenting as a main factor in the equation of blogging so , disabling them isn't a good decision at all from my point of view as a main purpose of a blog is to interact with your readers and provide value for them.

Kudos to you for sticking with the comment feature on your blog. I think that it is one of the main ingredients in blogging. I have some blogs that I haven't installed comments yet, but I will do that eventually.

Another thing that I am wondering about is why some blogs don't have the publishing date linked to the post.
