Hi Craig,

I'm a visual learner, so, anytime I can see a video rather than read anything, I'll choose the video every time.

I am more likely to buy something if I can see the benefits right before my eyes.

I never thought I'd be doing videos, but, here I am doing video tutorials.

Thanks for the great post.

Hi Heather,

Thanks so much for your comment and for leaving a comment on our post as well. We are so lucky to have this community and appreciate you allowing us to contribute to such a great site.

Regarding your comment about the video being embedded or being from a third party source - I think an embedded video certainly is preferable, unless you are driving a user to your YouTube page (that you manage). An embedded video does not drive the user away from the site and encourages him/her to view the video and continue to browse your site and consume content.

Thanks again Heather!

Hi Craig,

I tend to feel that, if for no other reason, the appeal video obviously has to search engines should be a major motive for using it in content whenever you can. Thanks to Jim Armstrong for sharing your post with the BizSugar community. I wonder if you or Jim would have any thoughts on incorporating video directly on your site vs. embedding it from YouTube or another third party source. This would be regardless of whether you created the content yourself or not. I'd love if someone could share some thoughts on this in the comment section of the BizSugar community for the benefit of all our members.
