Content is so great for getting more exposure, but you have to actually have good content.

Janice: I scanned your blog post! ;) I will read more in depth, later on. I will print it out and highlight stuff.

Hi Janice,

I think this is something everyone wonders when a blog post doesn't perform. What would you recommend bloggers do to avoid overthinking the possible reasons.

Good question, Heather. I would recommend starting each post out with the checklist and make sure you're hitting the mark within each area. Sometimes we don't get a response because the post or the topic is too bland and it needs depth or unique thoughts. But generally, if you're writing questions that your target audience really is searching for, you'll do well. It has helped me to track the performance of my posts on a content spreadsheet. We can't track what we don't measure, right? This has helped me see patterns of what people respond to.
