The Internet has turned the classic definition of the word around, turning it into "a list of desired items the compiler MAY obtain via putting it together and sharing with friends." Are you using wish lists yet? Chances are that more than 50% of the people who read this question, don't (missing out on a great marketing opportunity)...

However, that wishlist functionality makes a great online marketing tool. Ask Amazon!

Geno: I have an idea of combining my wishlist on Amazon, Pinterest page with my Referly account. Do you have success stories on how to use Squidoo as an affiliate marketing tool?

Lyceum, I can't really share affiliate success stories (either using Squidoo or anything else). Affiliates, generally, frown on it; and understandably so -- why would they be happy about educating competition? But speaking of Squidoo, specifically, a decent intro into the subject (of using it for affiliate marketing) may be found at http://www.affilorama.com/web-2/introduction-to-squidoo

Hmmm, this is interesting. I have never thought of a wishlist as an affiliate marketing tool.

Yeah, Tcamba, especially when combined with data feeds it can serve as a basis for powerful viral customer-driven marketing campaigns. And very much social too!
