I think in this day and age EVERYONE should be a brand. Relying on a company to define you is never going to make you stand out among the millions of people qualified to work in our world. Too often people find someone they admire (and if you read Gary’s book, he is very inspirational) and try and “imitate” or “be like” them, but learning to be uniquely you is key.
