Reports indicate that Google+ has just reached the 20 million-user mark. On its own, that’s a huge figure. Compared to Facebook’s 750 million, that’s a really small amount. But we have to remember that it took years for the largest social networking site in the world to amass that unprecedented user count and only got to 20 million on its fourth year. Google+ only has a few weeks worth of history.The question now is: should you add to that growing number? The answer depends on your priorities. If you’re on Facebook and have no issues with their privacy policy, security and services, and still tending to your virtual farm, then it’s best to stay there. For now. Facebook does fulfill your need to connect with the people you know. Being in its early stages of operations, you probably know only a few people with Google+ profiles. So that means an empty stream.But if all your friends—or at least, the important ones—are crazy about Google+ and you’ve received countless email invites, then it’s time to set your page up.
