Reputation management is a great use for your blog. I especially like your first point about giving people a specific place to complain. Having said this, I would add one caveat. Be prepared for complaints to come your way on any channel customers have open to them. This could be your Facebook page, Twitter stream, Yelp page, blog comment section, on their own blog...the list goes on and on. The moral of the story is that just because you give people a place to complain doesn't mean that's where they'll do it. Thankfully your blog also gives you the opportunity to address these issues as they arise. Loved reading your post on the BizSugar community.
