The important thing to remember here is that just because you may be a small business or even an entrepreneur, companies and entities or every size are at risk of losing PR credibility when something goes wrong – in a big way.

Yea John,

It seems to me these are all bad policies. We've all experienced those times when no answer is good enough for an angry client or customer. There is no point in making matters worse by choosing an answer that is also untrue. Thanks for the post. It's good advice for any small business owner.

If there's one thing Watergate taught my generation, it's that the cover-up is often perceived as worse than the actual problem (or crime).
