Many of the greatest scientists happened to develop their curiosity for science and the unknown at an early age. So earlier this year, Google asked some of the brightest young minds from around the world to come up with potential ideas that could one day change the world for the better. The 2013 Google Science Fair has thus attracted many exciting entries from thousands of submissions representing more than 120 countries. And after a busy few months judging the submissions, Google has revealed the 90 regional finalits for the fair, with projects ranging from using banana peels to produce bioplastics to research into a green treatment for contaminated water.
