Setting up an SSL certificate has never been easier and more necessary than it is today. In this article I am sharing best practices, helpful tips and a few tools for troubleshooting.

If SSL certificate gets expired. Is there same procedure to re-validate it or just pay its fees and it gets updated automatically?

If you don't change the setup behind it, there shouldn't be much hassle about updating it. In fact, you should be notified that the certificate is due to update and if there's anything to pay, you will have to do so.

However, if you got a free certificate with your host and you change your web host at some point, you will have to go through the same procedure of setting up and validating a certificate. - Hope that helps.
