Having an online business card with a centralised social media presence sounds like a pretty good idea. Small business professionals can end up having many social media networking accounts, once you take into account your blog, twitter, facebook, stumbleupon, digg, youtube, and possibly a few others.

I have set up card.ly page. Have you heard about Poken social business card? http://egoist.blogspot.com/2009/08/poken-social-media-business-card.html

Hi Lyceum, Yes, I am familiar with the Poken, but I just don't like it. I don't see why I should buy a special device, that as far as I know, is only available in the US, when my iPhone will do the same thing.

Not just the run of the mill social media tools, are they Fiona? I'm wondering whether you have any direct personal experience about which ones are the best of the group.

Hi Shawn

Wow, choosing a favourite would be quite difficult. Card.ly is very good and simple and straightforward. Snap Dat and Beam Me Live are only really good if you have an iPhone. I like the TwtbizCard but it is a bit tricky to figure out. Socialized Card is ok, similar to Card.ly. Retaggr is quite good with the RSS feeds following your profile info. With "My Name is E" and "Magntize", these are quite similar where you can really customise the look and backgrounds, and they both look ready to merge with smartphones.

So, I don't REALLY have a favourite, but for stylish, I like the last two.
