While most people involved in social media are working hard to grow their own follower count and increase their own numbers to hopefully increase the reach at which they can spread their message. I feel it is equally as important to find and connect with those that share your interests to build relationships and connect with and follow thought leaders and influential members in your industry.

Chad: I am now following you on Twitter. I will read your post on Twitter lists and set up some new ones. I want to create one for fellow podcasters for my @EgoNetCast account.

So, you are into hockey? Which is your favorite team? Here in Gothenburg, Sweden, we have a team called Frölunda Indians.

Chad: Have you written a post on how to set up and use Twitter lists? I tried back in the day, but then I put it on the back-burner... ;)

Chad: Thanks for sharing these tips. I have now tested Unfollow app, removing not active users, so I can start following new tweeps. I haven't been able to follow new users for some time, due to Twitter's follow limit rule.

Have you tested Twitter's list feature?

I am a huge fan of Twitter lists as they allow you to segment the huge flow of data in the Twitter stream into interests and groups of manageable sizes.
