I definitely agree with you about PR disappearing and being replaced by some kind of scoring based on domain authority, page authority, and likely author rank. Link building also is even more important now than it was before. It's just that link quality and "naturalness" plays a greater role in its value.

And about social sharing: I think we're heading into a time where it's not necessarily important how many shares you get nor how influential these people are. What will matter more is how targeted these social sharers are. If your target audience is sharing and engaging with your content, then it will affect the searches of all the people connected to them.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens
