I know it's probably a mistake to keep comparing Google Plus to Facebook, but I'm kind of wondering how Facebook stacks up here. Are there similar distribution maps available and might they show us Facebook is strong in certain places where Google Plus is weak? I recall reading somewhere, for example, that Facebook's growth within the U.S. has slowed. But I'm wondering about your opinion? Will Google Plus ever catch up? Or isn't that really the point? I'm leaving this comment both on your blog and in the BizSugar community, so it would be great to get your take for the benefit of both sets of readers.

The numbers were released by an independent body, and not Google itself. I haven't heard of anything similar about Facebook. But, since I don't know everything, I might have missed it.
Google+ is already at 343 million active users. Facebook was far from these numbers in its first two years.
I think it is a mistake to continue comparing both platforms. They serve very different purposes.
