Lots of very good tips, Brad! One thing I check is how often they tweet. If I see more than a whole page of tweets in a few hours I won't normally follow them back. I figure my page would be inundated & monopolized by them.

I'm in agreement with you there, Duncan. I've been thinking about doing a post on all of the factors I look at when I decide whether to follow someone on Twitter and what tools I use. How often they tweet is one of those factors for me.
