Importance of Social Media icons and their position on websites

Buttons and icons must be located in it's perfect position. It should be place where the eyes of the reader usually focus. And I think if it is in the header,side or bottom it must be positioned in fixed so that the reader will no longer scroll up/down to click the button there. Hassle free like Facebook. Do I have a point?

It's very very advisable to have social media buttons on your sites so that your readers can find it easy to share your posts. Personally, I like having them just below the posts and as a floating bar on my blogs left sidebar. Thanks for sharing this with the community.
