Very interesting thoughts! One of my colleagues did some work earlier this year on Everlife - the Facebook app for dead people (well, relatives of people who die) - it hasn't really taken off in a big way as yet, but I've also seen some of the tribute pages put on FB when people die.
What I am also amazed to find is that lots of people are using FB to announce deaths, send condolences, etc. This is an area that is only just coming into the limelight, I don't believe it's anywhere near settled yet.

Fascinating concepts, all of them. I can see the logic of getting your digital house in order, as it were, in the same way we do in the physical world. But I'm wondering if you feel some of them might be frivolous. Though I'm certain digital communication is here to stay, I'm wondering whether any given channel (say Twitter, for example) is established enough for you to make eternal plans connected with it. I guess I'm wondering whether it might not be a better idea to create more general digital data prepared for the ages and accessible no matter what the future digital landscape. Love to hear your thoughts on this point in the comment section on BizSugar where all our members can see it.
