I recently read an article from CNN Fortune describing how the position of Social Media Manager is dead. This post has shown up numerous times in my various feeds. And while the article brings up some valid points, I would argue that this position is even more important now.

Great piece. I def don't believe that the social media manager is extinct.

They are very much still useful and beneficial to many.

Great points there maam but I think Social Media Manager is not necessary now because are more vigilant in what they make out of there social media biz or hobby.
