n the last few days, reports have emerged that Twitter’s famous 140 character limit could be increased to a giant 10,000 characters (the current size of its direct messaging feature) in the next few months.

How will 10,000 characters fit on a mobile screen?

In the article, it explains that the tweets will be the same size, but that you can expand them. With mobile, you'd just scroll down once you clicked to expand.
