Well spoken Efoghor, gone are the days when you can easily manipulate the search engines to rank higher on the SERP's and anyone that is still doing that now is just wasting his time. Content remains the king and, the more and better contents you write, the better for you. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

Thanks for your contribution. When I started as a blogger, I listened to different advices on backlink building, SEO and all that stuff and then tried to quickly manipulate the pendulum to swing in my favour. I later discovered that those things don't work for too long. The SEO experts/companies are launching their marketing hypes and making people believe they could help them.

Sometimes you take a look at the websites of those promising you heaven on earth, and you discover they are not even ranking well on Alexa and Google PR. The stark truth is that Google respects great content; readers love it and other search engines love it as well.

What would make one to keep paying a repeat visit to your site in the long run is the great content you have, not your keyword density, blog layout, or Blackhat SEO practices. We must learn to produce informative, unique and engaging contents for our readers.
