As a professional blogger, I'm not going to argue with you about the importance of blogs, Jason. Or social media for that matter. However, I would like to point out that one of the real problems with the herd mentality of late adopters is that they decide to do what everyone else is doing. And this is precisely why they don't stand out. Once in the market, they have extravagant expectations about what all of this will do and mean for their business. Their blog has been up and running for three weeks. Does it have 10 thousand hits yet? They're thinking about putting up a blog and maybe posting once a month when they SHOULD be thinking about video pod casts to further set their business apart. A pod cast? What ARE these geeks talking about now?!!!
