Networking. To me, this is a word that makes me cringe. Personally, I hate networking. I always feel so uncomfortable. But I know this is an important verb to have in my arsenal. Throughout my career, I have picked up a few tricks to get me through the networking pain. Strategies I would love to share with fellow non-networkers.

Great tips, Kathleen. You can't do it alone. You've to go out there and connect with peers and people that share your interests. The more you do this, the better you'll become as a networker.

Keep the taps flowing.

Kathleen,

Picking the right event/events is so important. Couldn't agree more. And this applies to everyone, not just to people who are weak in the networking department. Spending time at the wrong event is a waste of effort for everyone. Thanks for sharing with the BizSugar community.
