Being an entrepreneur means being in charge of everything -- from finances to the actual service. That means minimizing expense and maximizing profit.

You never know where the road takes you as an entrepreneur, and for good reason: you’re on your own. There’s no W-2 someone hands you, nor any forms to fill out for vacation time. You’re in charge, and only you, and sometimes that can be a scary thing from a financial standpoint. The profit margins rely on you. This can’t be any truer than in 2014 as you’re immediately saddled with everything from taxes to the business plan for the new year, finances, forecasting and sales trends. It’s a big responsibility
