New Yorker writer Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers has an interesting theory – that it takes 10,000 hours of practice at something to become a master at it.

Ivan: I like your wording, "business is becoming like a habit." It is the statement by Aristotle:
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

IMO, it's very true. I am approaching my 10,000 hours and although I never consider myself as an expert, I know much about my business and how to do things with it even in my subconsciousness. Business is becoming like a habit, really...
Please note, Malcom never mention that if we pass the 10,000 hours mark we will be successful, though... and being an expert doesn't always mean that I will be successful all the way.
Cheers!
