This is a post (https://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20140526090241-11964723-the-c7i-of-leadership) I wrote for LinkedIn.

What traits and features make a good leader? How do we recognize a good leader when we see one, and how we discern a leader from a manager? Leadership has many aspects and each leader has the talent to impact differently, different people. And with different ways!

It is not always easy to discern a good leader and recognized him/her as such! This article, I wrote for LinkedIn, try to answer these and similar questions. It offers a consistent framework of reference, that may be helpful in your course for employ more autonomy and leadership initiatives in your life!

Takis: Thanks for taking time to provide me and other readers with these links to posts by Michael Hyatt and Chris Brogan. Chris Brogan has written a post on why you should start with podcasting. My main base for podcasting will be EGO NetCast.

Takis: Thanks for creating a visual image of the blogging work. Do you have a specific company, brand or person, that has built a base, embassy and outpost in a good way?

Dear Lyceum, 3 of the most notable examples of these framework is CopyBlogger, Michael Hyatt, and Chris Brogan. If you need more references, you can check the http://michaelhyatt.com/a-social-media-framework.html, the http://www.chrisbrogan.com/how-outposts-improve-your-ecosystem/ and the http://www.chrisbrogan.com/using-outposts-in-your-media-strategy/. I hope they help.

Takis: You are welcome! I look forward to hear your comment on his works in the future.

I want to start to create content on LinkedIn and some other external hubs. Yes, I think we should try news things. If we haven't, we hadn't started blogging, back in the day (in my case, in 2002)! ;)

All the Best,

Martin

I look forward to see more of your work in other hubs. I'm a big fan of the conceptualization of blogging as base (you main blog site), embassies (controllable by you hubs), and outposts (mini-blogs, news, references, material you want to disseminate, etc). As a modern blogger you should handle all them effectively (new things, Lyceum!). I hope every success in your new ventures.

Takis: Have you read the works by Dr. Edwin A. Locke? His is the pioneer of goal-setting and leadership. He has a written a book called, The Essence of Leadership: The Four Keys to Leading Successfully.

How has the response been to your post on LinkedIn? Do you like this new content hub?

No, dear Lyceum, I haven't read it, but, thank you fro the suggestion. I would try to find it.

As far as LinkedIn concerns, things are different, with large impact. I'm still try to find my "way" to navigate via the vast content publishing (the response it was small, by far, but I'm still learning...). I like it though, because has a proximity and responsiveness, much more superior, to that of "traditional" blogging. Thank you for commenting, Lyceum. I believe that always we should try new things, to communicate, don't you agree?
