Good article about working from home. One thing that I'd like to add is self discipline. While I loved your point about motivation, I think discipline is a key concept that should be considered.
I love working in the home office because I'm away from distractions. I put my head down and work and work and work.
But in the past, when I've been less than busy, I've been open to distraction. So you really must manage your time. And it's important to manage what other people think of your time - some people think that you're not 'working' when you're not in an office so can pop by for coffee.
While that's good, it needs to be on your time, not theirs.
Just some words of advice from my telecommuting experience.
Take care,
Denise
