Loved this article. Ideas are all around us and really we should just take note of them.

I have a box called 'inspiring ideas'. If I see something that I like, then I cut it out or print it off and put it into the box. Every now and again, I'll look at it when I'm looking for ideas.

You're right about cycles so just because you didn't have the time or resources to do it previously, it could still be done at a later stage.
