Personally, and I believe many people would agree, when I'm searching for specific business information or news I want to read something that gets to the point and explains it in easy to understand terms without a lot of unrelated information mucking it up.I could care less if I entertain people looking to be entertained,I'm more worried about conveying the message I was aiming to get across so as to not waste like minded people's time.
Even though I think this I still believe that I can come across a little more entertaining in my writing while sticking to what is related and not straying too far which your post reminded me of a little further.

Point well taken! I am rather skewed in my perspective being that I'm a writer and am looking for people who need a writer.
You are right that there is no substitute for content. That being said, with each businessperson in competition with thousands of other blogs, there has to be something, flare, pizzazz, whatever we may call it to stand out from the crowd.
As far as the title goes, without something snappy, people might not even click. Take the title "10 ways to Succeed With Social Media." There are probably 10,000 other blog posts with the exact same title. Something has to be done to make people interested.

I actually saw the movie several days ago, went to sleep and awoke with the idea to write the post. As far as Rivkah, I think she might exceed my ability as a blogger! She's a great writer and has the Business knowledge that I lack.

Now, if only Monsieur Poirot had a son. I imagine Countess Vera Rossakoff would be the mother...

Thanks for your response and glad you enjoyed! Very interesting angle with the Countess being the mother!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. As far as the quote, I just Googled it. No answer. I would probably have guesssed some General like Eisenhower or MacArthur.
At the moment I'm neither kicking ass nor taking names. I'm about to change the bio at the bottom to "Will not be working." I'll probably set late December or Early January as a time to return. I need a break, so "they" say.
In any case, why aren't you posting. You have a perfect record of submit/published. Start putting all of these great ideas you have in blog format!

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic reviews! For the forseeable future I will be scaling back blogging to once a week. As always, thanks for your readership and support!

Thanks so much! Any time you are able to "pop in for a visit" I will consider myself honored by your presence!
FYI: On the right side of the blog there is an archive of older articles. The one in question is right under this one.
With kindest regards,
Yonatan
