I always thought Fabio was quite manly. I'm serious! The big problem was that he was totally miscast:

1) The cover-boy for romance novels

2) I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

Had he been an NFL player, an Olympic discus-thrower or playing the part of a construction worker on a sit-com, he would have been seen differently.

Instead, he has been nothing but cannon-fodder for Leno, Conan and Letterman.

I actually feel pretty bad for the guy.
