John Brown, humble, God-fearing man was appalled by the evils of slavery in America. When peaceful means would not work, he turned to armed insurrection and declared war on slavery. History has judged him as firing the first shots to end slavery in America.
The principles that this 18th Century radical abolitionist embodied have some surprising implications for 21st Century Business Success!

Thanks for the kind compliment. It would have to be a multi-author, group book because who in the HECK is going to buy a business book from a guy whose business barely turns a profit!?!?!? :) :)
It would work though if we ever get our BizSugar Book off the ground! Some chapters on historical aspects of business.
It was fun to write though. If you ever see the book "Cloudsplitter" buy it. it is hands down the GREATEST work of historical fiction I have EVER read!

As you have shown we can learn so much from history. The one thing that stood out for me was that he took action and continued taking action.
Thanks for this story and principles Yoni.

Thanks for your wonderful comments. One of the reasons I love this story is that it has so much relevancy today.
J.B. truly was a man of action. He is to be admired, though it must be remembered that it was only really after his death that the true meaning of what he did became apparent.
All the best and looking forward to your next post,
Yoni

Thanks so much for your feedback! I think you are right...I had a little detractor in my head for about 3.5 years telling me I couldn't be a freelancer. I didn't have the will-power. Wasn't organized. Market was too saturated. So I suffered those 3.5 years with the biggest a**-ho*e of a boss who ever walked the face of the earth. I finally conquered those inner voices of doubt and I'm happy as I could have ever imagined!
All the best,
Yoni

Great submission. If Tarantino gets a hold of this it will be a blood bath.

Thanks so much! I have been wanting to write this piece for a while. You are right about dear Quentin. I'm afarid J.B. will be totin' an Uzi and cruising around in a Dodge Viper instead of his trusty horse. In all serious though, it will be a bloodbath! It is quite the bloody story though I'm sure Quentin will add to it.
Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks so much Heidi. I was so happy to do a historical piece. I've been waiting six months to do this one. Woops, that's procrastination...not a good admission!
