The initial anecdotal evidence is that current customers are happy to be supporting a local company. But the entrepreneurs lose the marketing value of the well-known Midas name. I definitely hope this helps in the long term and as I continue to work with them we'll know better.

Hi Emily,

Pretty exciting project here and a gutsy move on the part of these entrepreneurs. I must say though that the results seem to have more than justified the decision. Thanks for sharing the case study with the BizSugar community. Would be great to hear back again on how it's worked out for these business owners in a few years. How will customers respond long term?
