Oskar Schindler, businessman and human-being, rescued thousands from certain death. Bill Gates gives billions for third-world health, Oprah builds a school for disadvantaged students in South Africa and Brad Pitt helps rebuild hurricane-ravaged New Orleans. Yet when businesspeople stand up to make a difference, critics pundits and detractors always question their motives, reasons and agendas. In a business world where corruption and greed hold sway over headlines, why can't we just look at all-to-rare heroes with respect and admiration?

Another great post, Yonatan. Thanks for sharing this with the business community on BizSugar.com. It's important to remember these inspirational examples of what a difference a single person can make in any walk of life and, of course, a great reminder of the power we all have to make a difference by simply having the courage and the will to act.

Shawn,

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words! None of us may ever have the chance to act on the level of a Schindler, and Oprah or a Bill Gates, but you're right, with gestures and acts of kindness and courage here and there, we can change lives. All the best to you,

Yonatan
