I used Viber pretty much in the past, but then it was blocked by telephone companies and had some technical issues. I understand why Telegram is popular in countries such as Iran. The dictatorships are trying to ban, block, or use censorship on certain messenger apps, due to the fact that they are not for freedom of speech.
